Interior designer at Verve Suites
Verve Suites came furnished to a theme. Now to your own taste.
Every suite at Verve was handed over furnished to a developer’s theme, with names like Urban Glam and Metro Bliss. We help you keep what still works and design the rest around how you live.

Linen, oak and two low lamps. In a suite where the developer chose everything, a bedroom that is quietly your own is often the place to begin.

Verve Suites floor plans, tower by tower
Verve Suites is four towers of serviced residences on Jalan Kiara 5, with studios of about 462 sq ft, one-bedrooms and two-bedrooms of up to about 932 sq ft.
Each type was handed over fully furnished, so design here starts from a home that is already complete, just not yet yours.
Bukit Kiara Properties launched the towers one at a time, the first three in 2006, 2007 and 2008, and finished the development at the end of 2013, StarProperty records. The towers rise 29 to 37 storeys on 5.87 acres of freehold land. We’re Sundays in Bed, a Bukit Damansara design studio; we design homes room by room and agree the fee in writing first.

What came with the suite
StarProperty describes every unit as fully furnished at handover, with imported German Bosch appliances and designer furniture. Each type had its own concept and name, from City Sleek and Classic Chic in Viva to Centro Jazz and Cosmo Groove in Vogue and Avant Storm and City Flux in Vox.
Its own analysis adds that, with no single theme running through, many homes ended up with similar interiors. For a designer, that is useful: we know roughly what a Verve suite holds before we arrive, and the visit is about what has worn, what has been replaced and what you’d rather not live with.
A developer’s furnishing package is built to look complete on the day of handover. More than a decade of living asks different things of it: more storage than a show suite needs, softer light than a ceiling grid gives, and a sofa you actually want to sit on.
Interior design ideas for Verve Suites, beyond the developer’s theme
At Verve Suites the question is rarely where the walls go.
It is how much of the developer’s package to keep, and what should take the place of the rest.
If the original furniture is still there
The furniture, appliances and finishes were chosen to one brief across hundreds of homes. We go room by room and sort each piece: sound and suitable, sound but not you, or worn out. Only the last two change, which leaves the budget for what you’ll notice.
If you live in a one-bedroom
Between 633 and 861 sq ft, a one-bedroom has room for a proper sofa or a proper dining table, rarely both at full size. A round table that doubles as a desk, and a three-seat sofa without bulky arms, often fit where the original set-up felt crowded.
If the second bedroom has no clear job
In a two-bedroom of 826 to 932 sq ft, the second room tends to become a study, a guest room or a dressing room. Decide which first, because the wardrobe, the desk and the lighting all follow from it.
If you’d like it to feel less like a show suite
Where many homes in one building share the same interiors, a home that has been thought through shows quickly: warmer lamps instead of a bright grid, joinery that suits the plan, and fabrics chosen for the light on your side of the tower.

What interior design costs at Verve Suites
Our design fee at Verve Suites is an estimated RM16,180–19,745 for a two-bedroom and RM12,615–16,180 for a one-bedroom.
It is for the design alone, set down in writing before we start, and it sits apart from the renovation and furniture budgets.
- Each room we design
- RM3,565
- Living and dining
- RM5,485
The fee is for our design. What you spend on renovation and furniture is shown separately below.
We charge RM3,565 for each bedroom and for the kitchen, and RM5,485 for the living and dining. A one-bedroom is two rooms plus the living space; a two-bedroom, three. A bigger home of the same type costs no more to design.
Every Verve plan is under 1,200 sq ft, so the upper figure adds one room, usually the bathroom. A studio we price once we’ve seen how its kitchen and sleeping corner sit.
2 bedrooms and the kitchen: 3 rooms at RM3,565, plus the living and dining at RM5,485.
Within each level, the lower figure covers the essentials; the upper figure adds extras such as a feature wall, LED strips and a kitchen island.
What the two levels mean
Curated. Melamine or laminate carpentry, quartz or sintered stone tops, the existing ceiling kept or a new plaster ceiling. Furniture from Commune, Cellini, Fella Design, Dezign District, Poet Living, Big Brain, Gudang, Crown Livin and Dadswood.
Bespoke. Detailed joinery, sintered stone tops, a plaster ceiling with detailing. Furniture from Space Furniture, Tekni, BoConcept, King Living, Ambient Living, Stanzo, Forest Furniture, Roche Bobois, XTRA, Urban Edge, Molteni&C, Nostaloft, Flexform, Janine and Chesters Collection.
How the fee works
A kitchen that runs along the living room wall, with no door of its own, is counted with the living and dining, which takes RM3,565 off; we confirm which you have on the visit. The fee is paid in stages, and if you choose a richer stone, the difference lands in the contractor’s quote rather than ours. How our fees work
Our fee together with Curated finishes and furniture (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living) brings a two-bedroom to about RM185k–310k overall.
| Home | Our fee | Curated | Bespoke |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2 bedrooms about 932 sq ft | RM16,180–19,745 | RM169k–293k | RM337k–664k |
| 1 bedroom about 672 sq ft | RM12,615–16,180 | RM143k–251k | RM291k–576k |
The lower fee covers the bedrooms, the kitchen and the living and dining; the upper adds one room, often the bathroom.
Prices as of October 2026. These are estimates; the quotation comes after the visit.
What the renovation ranges assume
The engine prices new wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, bedroom air-conditioners, a washer-dryer, hob and hood, with new floors. Verve homes came with fitted kitchens and Bosch appliances, so where those are kept, the real figure is lower.
The lower figure renews no bathroom; add yours in the calculator if you’d redo it.

Working with your Verve Suites interior designer
From the first call to the last cushion, one designer looks after your Verve Suites home.
We design and oversee; contractors build, and you choose them after we have set their quotes side by side.
Four towers share the grounds above a 60,000 sq ft retail podium, so works and deliveries keep to management’s timetable. In a furnished suite, what leaves matters as much as what arrives: we plan which pieces are sold, given away or stored before the new ones come up in the lift.
- Talking it over FreeYour tower and type, how you use the home, and which of the developer’s pieces you’d keep.
- The visit RM200, deducted if you go ahead with usWe measure, photograph what came with the suite and check the appliances, air-conditioning and wiring.
- Fee agreed, design begunIn writing first; then the layout, joinery, lighting and furniture list, with every old piece marked keep or go.
- Quotes comparedContractors price the same drawings, which management also approves. We go through each quote with you.
- Works, then the rooms finishedWe oversee the work, clear what is leaving, and style the suite before you come home.
In a furnished suite, the quiet work is in the clearing out as much as the bringing in. We keep the list, and you can ask about any piece at any time. The full process
Before works at Verve Suites
The management office approves renovation first, in writing, and sets the deposit and working hours. Verve’s house rules weren’t online when we looked, so we ask for the current copy before contractors are invited to quote.
Mont Kiara comes under DBKL, whose procedure for strata renovations covers structural and plumbing changes. If you rent, your landlord agrees in writing before any of it.
Renovating at Verve Suites, and what a furnished suite can keep
A Verve Suites home usually needs less building than it seems.
Kitchens and wardrobes fitted at handover can often stay, with new fronts, better light and different furniture doing most of the work.
Shared space here is generous, which changes what a small home has to hold. StarProperty lists the Vertigo Lounge on the 35th floor, a sky beach, a sky garden and a hypercubes lounge, a heated pool, a theatre and an outdoor cinema, a reading pavilion and a laundrette. With a reading pavilion downstairs, the second bedroom need not become a library.
What to look at in a Verve Suites home

Because the towers were launched one after another from 2006, finishes can differ a little from Viva to Vox. We work from what is in your home rather than from the brochure.
FAQ
Interior design questions at Verve Suites, Mont Kiara
What does it cost to renovate and furnish a Verve Suites home?
For a two-bedroom of about 932 sq ft, renovation and furniture come to roughly RM169k–293k with Curated pieces (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living), or RM337k–664k with Bespoke (Space Furniture, BoConcept, Molteni&C). Our design fee, an estimated RM16,180–19,745, comes on top. Keeping the handover kitchen brings the figure down.
What are the floor plans at Verve Suites?
StarProperty lists studios and one-bedrooms of about 462 sq ft in the Vogue and Vox towers, one-bedrooms of 633 to 861 sq ft in Viva and Vibe, and two-bedrooms of 826 to 932 sq ft across all four towers. Each type carries its own concept name, such as Urban Glam or Metro Bliss.
Were Verve Suites homes sold furnished?
Yes. StarProperty describes every unit as fully furnished at handover, with Bosch appliances and designer furniture to a theme for each type. How much of that remains now varies from home to home.
Who developed Verve Suites, and when was it completed?
Bukit Kiara Properties, which launched the first three towers in 2006, 2007 and 2008 and completed the development at the end of 2013. It is freehold, on 5.87 acres at Jalan Kiara 5.
How many homes are there at Verve Suites?
About 880 to 930: StarProperty gives 881 in its description and 933 in its details. They sit in four towers, Viva, Vibe, Vogue and Vox, of 29 to 37 storeys.
Should I replace the developer’s furniture at Verve Suites?
Only what doesn’t serve you. Sound pieces that suit the room can stay, perhaps re-covered or moved; worn or ill-fitting ones go. Most Verve homes end up with a mix, which keeps both the cost and the waste down.
Can a one-bedroom at Verve Suites have a place to work?
Usually, without any building. A desk along the window wall, or a round dining table that doubles as one, with good task light and a shelf above, gives a working corner while the bedroom stays for sleep.
Do I need approval to renovate at Verve Suites?
Yes. Management approves first, in writing, with a deposit and set hours, and DBKL’s strata renovation procedure applies to structural or plumbing work. If you rent, the landlord’s written consent comes before both.
Can I see a Verve Suites home you’ve designed?
We haven’t designed one at Verve Suites yet. The living room with full-height cabinets on this page is in a home we designed at Bangsar Hill Park, in Bangsar.
What interior design services do you offer at Verve Suites?
At Verve Suites we redesign furnished suites: what to keep from handover, new joinery and lighting, and kitchens and bathrooms where they need it. We draw the plans, compare contractors’ quotes with you and manage the works on site, and contractors do the building. Interior styling is available without a full design, and Virtual Design serves homes outside Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
