Interior design studio ยท The Lantern, Bangsar

The Lantern, a small building doing a lot with a little.

Bangsar is one address among many we design for. See how Sundays in Bed works across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor โ€” real projects, real pricing, one flat fee, all in one place.

Modern minimalist living room interior with natural light

The Lantern is a deliberately small building for Bangsar โ€” 180 units total, six to nine per floor, which is low-density for a 33-storey tower. Nearly every unit is dual-aspect for cross-ventilation, and the smallest layout starts at 561 sq ft, so most of the design brief here is about making a genuinely compact footprint feel complete rather than cramped.

It's also a transit-oriented building โ€” a 350-metre walk to Bangsar LRT โ€” which tends to draw young professional owner-occupiers and investors alike. Whichever you are, the smaller unit types (a 765 sq ft two-bedroom, or the 1,092 sq ft dual-key layout) reward efficient built-ins over statement furniture.

One flat fee per room, agreed before we begin, and a RM200 Klang Valley site visit (deducted from your project cost if you proceed) to see your specific home before anything is quoted.

Frequently asked questions

Can you make a smaller Bangsar unit feel less compact?

That's most of the brief on a building like The Lantern โ€” built-in storage, multi-purpose furniture and a considered layout do more here than in a larger unit.

Is The Lantern within your service area?

Yes โ€” same Klang Valley-wide site-visit fee and flat per-room pricing as everywhere else we work.
