Nadi Bangsar floor plans: studios, 1+1s and two-bedroom suites

Nadi Bangsar is a 38-storey serviced residence by Hap Seng Land, with 416 suites from a 441 sq ft studio to two-bedrooms of about 1,130 sq ft.

At these sizes, interior design is mostly about fitting storage, a desk and good light into rooms that each do two jobs.

Hap Seng Land completed Nadi Bangsar in 2017 on a 1.34-acre freehold parcel on Jalan Tanduk, close to Bangsar LRT, the Telawi streets and Bangsar Village. Shops and restaurants fill the floors at its base; the pool, gym, laundrette and children’s garden are on Level 9, and a sky garden with a jogging track tops the tower. We haven’t designed a Nadi Bangsar suite yet, and as everywhere, the fee is set out per room in writing before we draw a line.

  • 441 sq ftType A: studio with one bathroom
  • 689 sq ftType B: a 1+1, one bedroom with a study beside it
  • 893 sq ftType A1: one bedroom
  • 980–1,130 sq ftTypes C, D, E and E1: two bedrooms and two bathrooms

Types and sizes from MyRumahBaru and EdgeProp. MyRumahBaru also lists a three-bedroom and penthouses; if yours is one of them, we count its rooms on the visit.

The 1+1 and what its study can be

The 689 sq ft Type B has a small study beside the bedroom. It rarely needs to be only a study. A desk wall with closed shelving above, a sofa bed for a guest and a door that closes on the laptop at night let it be office, guest room and store at once.

If you would rather open it to the living room, that is a change to a wall, so it needs management’s written consent first; we check the wall on the visit before suggesting it.

Buying a resale suite

A suite bought on the resale market often arrives with a previous owner’s furniture and fittings. On the first visit we list what is there, from kitchen doors and wardrobes to lights and air-conditioners, and mark what is worth keeping before anything new is planned.

02The design

Interior design ideas for a Nadi Bangsar suite, starting with storage

In a Nadi Bangsar suite, the decisions that matter most are where things are kept, where you work and how light carries across the room.

Colours and finishes follow from those.

If storage is the first problem

Wardrobes taken all the way to the ceiling use height a small suite can’t spare, and a tall unit by the door takes shoes, an umbrella and a cabin bag that would otherwise live in the living room. A bed with drawers beneath finishes the job. We draw these before any loose furniture is chosen.

If you work from home

In a 1+1, the study takes the desk. In a two-bedroom, the second room usually becomes a study that can still sleep a guest. Either way, we place sockets, a task light and cable routes before the carpentry is built, so nothing trails across the floor.

If light is what you notice

High up in a tower, daylight is rarely the issue; evenings are. Three or four sources at different heights, a lamp, a wall light, lighting under the kitchen cabinets, make a small room feel calmer than one bright ceiling panel.

If the kitchen opens to the living room

We treat it as part of the room it faces: cabinet fronts that suit the living space, one long worktop with no clutter on it, and a tall cupboard that swallows the microwave and the rice cooker.

03The design fee

What interior design costs at Nadi Bangsar

Our design fee at Nadi Bangsar is an estimated RM9,050–16,180 for a 1+1 suite and RM12,615–19,745 for a two-bedroom.

Each figure is per room, confirmed in writing before any drawing begins, and separate from the renovation and furniture budgets.

Each room we design
RM3,565
Living and dining
RM5,485

Bedrooms count at RM3,565 each; the open-plan living, dining and kitchen together are RM5,485. Nadi Bangsar’s published details don’t show whether kitchens are open or closed, so we have assumed open; an enclosed kitchen counts as its own room and adds RM3,565. A 1+1 is one bedroom plus the living space, RM9,050; a two-bedroom RM12,615. Two more rooms, such as the study and a bathroom, bring them to RM16,180 and RM19,745.

Our design fee, estimated

1 bedroom in a Nadi Bangsar suite: 1 room at RM3,565, with the open-plan living, dining and kitchen at RM5,485. The foyer and any service area are free.

CuratedRM134,000 to RM238,000
Commune, Cellini, Poet Living
BespokeRM279,000 to RM559,000
Space Furniture, BoConcept, Molteni&C

Within each level, the lower figure covers the essentials; the upper figure adds extras such as a feature wall, LED strips and a kitchen island.

What the two levels mean

Curated. Melamine or laminate carpentry, quartz or sintered stone tops, the existing ceiling kept or a new plaster ceiling. Furniture from Commune, Cellini, Fella Design, Dezign District, Poet Living, Big Brain, Gudang, Crown Livin and Dadswood.

Bespoke. Detailed joinery, sintered stone tops, a plaster ceiling with detailing. Furniture from Space Furniture, Tekni, BoConcept, King Living, Ambient Living, Stanzo, Forest Furniture, Roche Bobois, XTRA, Urban Edge, Molteni&C, Nostaloft, Flexform, Janine and Chesters Collection.

How a Nadi Bangsar fee is settled

We agree the figure with you in writing and bill it in stages. If you later choose a heavier stone or a longer wardrobe, that appears in the contractor’s quote, not ours. For a 689 sq ft 1+1, our fee plus renovation and furniture at Curated (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living) comes to roughly RM143k–247k.

Lower figures cover the bedrooms and the open-plan living, dining and kitchen. Upper figures allow two more rooms, for instance the study and a bathroom. A studio is one open space and is counted on the visit.

Curated and Bespoke ranges for Nadi Bangsar are our October 2026 estimates; contractors’ prices will differ.

Behind the Nadi Bangsar numbers

We price suites as resale homes with new flooring, and leave bathrooms out of the lower figure. Wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, bedroom air-conditioning, a washer-dryer, hob and hood sit inside every range, so whatever you keep comes off.

Furnishing to let?

If your Nadi Bangsar suite is to be let, our Essential level (Ikea, SSF Home, Harvey Norman) is quicker to install and stands up to a change of occupants. The design fee is the same at every level.

04Working together

How a Nadi Bangsar interior design project runs, start to finish

One designer stays with your Nadi Bangsar suite from the first call to the day you move back in.

We draw and supervise; contractors quote and build, and you choose between them once we have compared their prices with you.

A tower of 416 suites with shops at its base usually runs to a timetable: lifts booked for deliveries, noisy work kept to set hours, contractors signed in at security. We agree all of this with management before work starts, protect the lift and corridor, and order joinery to measured drawings so it fits the lift on the first attempt.

  1. A first call about how you’ll use the suite Free
Your type, whether you live in it or let it, how you work, and what came with the suite.
  2. A visit with the floor plan RM200, taken off the fee if we go ahead
We measure each room, open the kitchen and wardrobe doors, and note what is worth keeping.
  3. Fee in writing, then the drawings
We agree the rooms and the fee on paper, then draw the storage, the desk, the lighting and the finishes.
  4. Quotes for management and for you
Contractors price the same drawings, which management also reviews for consent. We compare the quotes with you, and you choose.
  5. Works, checks and the final dressing
We oversee the trades and deliveries, check every room against its drawing, and dress the suite before you move in.

Booked lifts, a security desk, deliveries and a moving date: there is a lot to line up in a tower. We keep the schedule, and a quick message will always tell you what happens next. The full process

Management’s consent comes first at Nadi Bangsar

If you rent, the owner’s written consent is the first step. Then management must agree to the works in writing, and some jobs also need a city permit, which the contractor applies for.

Nadi Bangsar’s renovation rules aren’t published that we could find, so we ask management for them, with the deposit, working hours and forms, before contractors quote.

05Your home

Renovating a Nadi Bangsar suite, and what to keep

Nadi Bangsar’s suites date from 2017, so bathrooms and floors are often in fair order.

The money usually goes on storage, lighting and the kitchen run, where a small home feels the difference every day.

A suite of under 1,200 sq ft rewards restraint. One timber, one stone and one paint colour carried through every room make the whole home read larger than a different scheme in each. Carpentry is drawn to the ceiling, doors are kept flush, and mirrors go where they double the light rather than the clutter.

What we usually keep, change and add at Nadi Bangsar

  • KeepBathroomsFrom 2017 and often sound; new fittings may be enough
  • RefitWardrobesTaken to the ceiling, with drawers and a lit interior
  • RethinkStudy, second roomA desk, storage and a bed for guests in one plan
  • AddLightingLamps, wall lights and under-cabinet strips for evenings

Drawn from EdgeProp’s 2017 reports and MyRumahBaru’s unit list; your suite’s own condition is checked in person.

FAQ

Designing a Nadi Bangsar suite

What is the interior design fee for a Nadi Bangsar suite?

Roughly RM9,050–16,180 for a 1+1 and RM12,615–19,745 for a two-bedroom. Bedrooms are RM3,565 each and the open-plan living, dining and kitchen RM5,485; the upper end allows two more rooms, and the total is agreed in writing before work starts.

How much does it cost to renovate and furnish a Nadi Bangsar suite?

Budget roughly RM134k–238k for a 1+1 at our Curated level (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living) and RM279k–559k at Bespoke (Space Furniture, BoConcept, Molteni&C), with our fee on top. A two-bedroom is about RM160k–281k at Curated. Contractors’ quotes give the final number.

What are the floor plans at Nadi Bangsar?

MyRumahBaru lists a 441 sq ft studio, a 689 sq ft 1+1 with a study, an 893 sq ft one-bedroom and two-bedrooms of 980 to 1,130 sq ft with two bathrooms. EdgeProp gives the same 441 to 1,130 sq ft range for its 416 suites. MyRumahBaru also shows a three-bedroom and penthouses.

Who built Nadi Bangsar, and when?

Hap Seng Land, which completed it in 2017 on a 1.34-acre freehold parcel on Jalan Tanduk. It is a single 38-storey block of 416 serviced suites, with shops on the lower floors.

How do you add storage to a small Nadi Bangsar suite?

By building upwards. Wardrobes to the ceiling, a tall unit by the door, a bed with drawers and a kitchen cupboard that hides small appliances usually free the living room entirely.

Can the study in a Nadi Bangsar 1+1 be opened up?

Possibly, but it is a change to a wall, so management must agree in writing first. Often a desk wall, closed shelving and a sofa bed make the study more useful without opening it at all.

Can I change the kitchen in a Nadi Bangsar suite?

Yes, with management’s written consent. New doors, a new worktop and better lighting change a small kitchen most; moving the sink or hob means moving plumbing, so we raise it at the first meeting.

What facilities does Nadi Bangsar have?

MyRumahBaru lists an infinity pool, a gym, a multipurpose deck, a laundrette, a children’s garden and a barbecue area on Level 9, and a sky garden with a jogging track and a second gym on the 38th floor. Shops and restaurants fill the retail floors below.

Where is Nadi Bangsar?

On Jalan Tanduk in Bangsar, close to Bangsar LRT, the Telawi streets and Bangsar Village I and II, as EdgeProp describes it.

Can I see a Nadi Bangsar suite you have designed?

Not yet; it would be a first for us. Our finished homes, such as the one at Setia Sky Seputeh, each have their own page with photographs.

What interior design services do you offer at Nadi Bangsar?

For Nadi Bangsar’s studios, 1+1s and two-bedroom suites we offer full condo interior design with renovation design: drawings, a side-by-side look at contractors’ quotes and site supervision while they build. If you only want the rooms furnished, there is interior styling, and Virtual Design serves homes beyond Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
