Interior designer at Eaton Residences KLCC
Eaton Residences, from handover white to home.
Eaton homes were finished as a blank page: white marble, pale timber, white and grey cupboards. Whether yours came fully furnished, partly furnished or empty, we write the rest in texture, colour and light, with pieces you can pack when you leave. No renovation needed. Just a home that feels like you.

Making Eaton Residences KLCC feel like home: floor plans and styling
An Eaton Residences home starts out pale on purpose: white marble, white timber and white or grey joinery.
Styling adds the warmth that palette leaves room for, using furniture, rugs, lamps and art, and no works at all. The floor plans are below.
Eaton Residences is a serviced residence on Jalan Kia Peng, the first Kuala Lumpur project of Singapore’s GSH Corporation. Swan & Maclaren were the architects, Patty Mak designed the interiors, and the tower was completed in 2022. Of its 632 homes, most are one-bedroom; family-sized homes and the twelve penthouses are the smaller share.
- 635–872 sq ftOne bedroom, some with a study
- 1,098–1,464 sq ftTwo bedrooms and a study
- 1,550–2,874 sq ftThree or four bedrooms and a study
- 2,271–2,982 sq ftThe twelve penthouses
Ranges from the developer’s 2016 figures as EdgeProp reported them, checked against MyRumahBaru’s layouts. Individual homes vary, so we measure.
Patty Mak’s white canvas, and the open kitchen
The handover finish is the same throughout the building: white marble in the living spaces and bathrooms, white timber floors in the bedrooms, and custom kitchen cabinets and wardrobes in white or grey. Mak described it as a canvas that each owner would complete. In every home the kitchen opens to the living room.
Styling here is therefore about warmth and edges. A large rug on the marble marks where living ends and cooking begins. Timber, leather and linen against white cupboards look chosen rather than mismatched. And with the kitchen always in sight, the bar stools and what stands on the counter belong to the living room’s scheme.
If your home was let fully furnished, the chapter on renting is the place to begin.
Styling a rented Eaton Residences KLCC home
Tenants at Eaton Residences can change everything that isn’t part of the building: furniture, rugs, lamps, curtains and art.
The marble, the joinery and anything you would need to drill stay put unless the landlord agrees in writing and management approves.
When the home came fully furnished
Some Eaton homes are offered fully furnished. We note what you’d keep, what could move between rooms and what you’d ask the landlord to remove, if the agreement allows.
In a white, open-plan home, a change of rugs, cushions and art can make the landlord’s pieces feel like your choice. We try that before suggesting anything bigger.
A serviced residence’s house rules
Your tenancy covers alterations, and the building, run with a concierge and housekeeping, has its own rules on deliveries and contractors. Loose items are yours to change; hooks and shelves need the landlord’s agreement; carpentry, wiring and plumbing need it in writing plus management’s approval.
Without permission, a picture ledge or leaning frames, plug-in lamps and curtains on the existing tracks do most of the work.
Ready by a set date
Tell us when you arrive. Sofas, beds and dining tables are ordered first because they take longest; the bedroom is styled before the rest so the first night is comfortable.
Small homes, easy moves
A one-bedroom Eaton home is small enough that almost everything we choose for it will fit the next one. For larger homes, we keep the biggest pieces modest so they can follow you to a smaller place.
Letting out an Eaton home
An owner can use styling to refresh a home between tenants without touching the marble or the joinery: warmer furniture, rugs and art, ready for photographs. Where works are needed too, see Furnishing to let below.
Styling at Eaton Residences KLCC, from first call to install day
Every Eaton Residences KLCC project has a single stylist.
Together we decide the rooms; you approve what is bought; we install it once it has all arrived.
Styling time is one to two weeks. Anything ordered new adds four to twelve weeks, so the slowest pieces come first.
Eaton runs as a serviced residence with a ground-floor concierge. We confirm delivery hours and lift bookings with management before any van is booked.
- An introductory call FreeWho will live there, whether the home came furnished, what is being shipped, and your arrival date.
- A measuring visit RM200, deducted if you go ahead with usRooms measured, the study and the open kitchen looked at, the marble and joinery noted, and the existing furniture sorted.
- Fee in writing, then the layoutsWe agree rooms and fee first, then send a layout and buying list per room, longest lead times at the top.
- OrderingYou place orders from the list, or the Procurement Concierge does and books deliveries with the building.
- Install dayThe stylist places furniture, hangs art, sets out lamps and finishes the beds.
A move into the city centre comes with paperwork, keys, cards and shipments. Leave the styling list with us, and ask for an update any time.
What styling costs at Eaton Residences KLCC
At Eaton Residences KLCC our styling fee is estimated at RM4,350–6,065 for a one-bedroom home and RM7,780–11,210 for three bedrooms.
Each room is RM1,715, the open-plan living, dining and kitchen RM2,635, and the total is agreed in writing before we begin.
Each estimate has a range. The lower end covers the bedrooms and the open-plan living space; the upper end adds one more room in homes under 1,200 sq ft and two in larger ones, such as the study and a dressing area. Styling has no free rooms, and the fee doesn’t rise with a room’s size.
| Eaton home | Covered at the lower end | Lower end | Upper end |
|---|---|---|---|
| One bedroom 635–872 sq ft | Bedroom and the open-plan living space | RM4,350 | RM6,065 |
| Two bedrooms and a study 1,410–1,464 sq ft | Two bedrooms and the open-plan living space | RM6,065 | RM9,495 |

| Four bedrooms up to 2,982 sq ft | Four bedrooms and the open-plan living space | RM9,495 | RM12,925 |
How each is reached: one bedroom, RM1,715 + RM2,635 = RM4,350, with one more room RM6,065. Two bedrooms, RM6,065, or RM9,495 with two more. Three, RM7,780 or RM11,210. Four, RM9,495 or RM12,925.
October 2026 estimates. Furniture and accessories are a separate cost, from a shortlist made for your budget.
How an Eaton styling project runs
We begin with a conversation, at Eaton or over video, looking at your photos and plan. Then a visit to measure and to see the furniture already there, which we reuse where it works. You receive a layout and a shopping list for each room, down to the lamps and throws, and once everything is delivered the stylist sets the rooms.
Our Procurement Concierge can do the buying and coordinate deliveries with the concierge downstairs.
Want more than styling at Eaton Residences KLCC?
Most Eaton homes are new enough that furniture is all they need.
Some owners want a little more from the space itself.
A study you can close the door on, wardrobes fitted for your clothes, timber brought into a home that is white from end to end: those are design decisions.
We help you decide what to leave, what to change and what is worth the spend, in one room or across the home.
Styling fills the home you have. Interior design adjusts the home itself.
Interior design at Eaton Residences KLCC, when home needs more
Eaton Residences is only a few years old, so few homes need renovating.
Interior design earns its place here when a white, open-plan home needs to work harder: storage, a study that closes, joinery that brings in warmth.
This is a recent building with good materials, so the aim is to add and adjust rather than tear out.
Typical requests are storage built around how you live, a study separated from the living space, and warmer finishes on the white and grey joinery. We can take them one at a time.
What an Eaton Residences KLCC renovation usually covers
- KeepFloorsThe marble and white timber are recent and hard to match, so the design works around them
- AdaptJoineryWhite and grey wardrobes and cabinets can take new doors and fronts in timber
- AddStudy, storageA built-in desk and shelving, and a door or sliding panel to close the study
- CheckCeilings, planNo ceiling heights or service routes are published, so we measure and read your plan
Your purchase or tenancy documents list the fittings handed over; we compare them with the home.
Renovation rules at Eaton Residences KLCC
We couldn’t find Eaton’s renovation rules in public, so we ask management for the current copy, with the deposit, working hours and forms, before quoting. As a serviced residence with concierge and housekeeping, it may also control contractors’ access. We haven’t designed an Eaton home yet; on the first call we show you homes we have designed elsewhere in Kuala Lumpur.
Before any works at Eaton Residences KLCC
Three approvals, one after another: the owner’s written consent if you rent, management’s written approval under the building’s rules, and a council permit where the work calls for one, applied for by your contractor.
New joinery, plumbing or anything that touches a wall usually needs all three, so we raise it on day one. Styling without drilling needs none.
What interior design costs at Eaton Residences KLCC
Our design fee at Eaton Residences KLCC is estimated at RM16,180–23,310 for three bedrooms and RM19,745–26,875 for a four-bedroom penthouse, agreed in writing before any design.
It pays for the design; works and furniture are separate budgets.
- Each room we design
- RM3,565
- Living and dining
- RM5,485
Our fee is for the design service. Renovation and furniture are separate budgets, shown below.
Because every Eaton kitchen is open to the living room, it is designed as part of one open-plan space at RM5,485, not as its own room. Bedrooms are RM3,565 each. Three bedrooms: 3 × RM3,565 + RM5,485 = RM16,180. A four-bedroom penthouse: RM19,745. Add two more rooms, say a bathroom and the study, for RM23,310 and RM26,875.
The Procurement Concierge comes with interior design, and rooms that only need styling are styled for half the usual fee.
3 bedrooms: 3 rooms at RM3,565, plus the open-plan living, dining and kitchen at RM5,485. The foyer and any yard or service area are designed free.
Within each level, the lower figure covers the essentials; the upper figure adds extras such as a feature wall, LED strips and a kitchen island.
What the two levels mean
Curated. Melamine or laminate carpentry, quartz or sintered stone tops, the existing ceiling kept or a new plaster ceiling. Furniture from Commune, Cellini, Fella Design, Dezign District, Poet Living, Big Brain, Gudang, Crown Livin and Dadswood.
Bespoke. Detailed joinery, sintered stone tops, a plaster ceiling with detailing. Furniture from Space Furniture, Tekni, BoConcept, King Living, Ambient Living, Stanzo, Forest Furniture, Roche Bobois, XTRA, Urban Edge, Molteni&C, Nostaloft, Flexform, Janine and Chesters Collection.
About the Eaton estimate
No Eaton kitchen has its own door, so none is counted as a separate room. We are paid in stages, and our fee holds even if you choose dearer materials.
Our fee plus works and furniture at Curated (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living) is roughly RM157k–276k for a 1,550 sq ft three-bedroom home.
| Eaton home | Design fee | Curated | Bespoke |
|---|---|---|---|
| Three bedrooms 1,550 sq ft | RM16,180–23,310 | RM141k–260k | RM300k–631k |
| Penthouse 2,271–2,982 sq ft | RM19,745–26,875 | RM162k–322k | RM338k–764k |
Curated pieces come from Commune, Cellini and Poet Living; Bespoke from Space Furniture, BoConcept and Molteni&C. Figures are works plus furniture, our fee aside.
October 2026 estimates; a quotation comes after the visit.
Assumptions behind the works figures
Eaton is priced as a recent home: the marble and timber floors stay, and bathrooms are only included if you add them in the calculator.
The ranges allow for wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, bedroom air-conditioners, a washer-dryer, hob and hood; keep the handover ones and they drop out. Vanities are excluded.
Furnishing to let?
Preparing an Eaton home for the next tenant? Where only furniture is missing, styling is usually enough, and for a one-bedroom home it nearly always is. Where works are needed, our Essential level, using Ikea, SSF Home or Harvey Norman, goes in quickly and wears well between tenancies. Our design fee doesn’t change with the level.
Essential works and furniture, our fee aside

- RM74k–118k
- Penthouse

FAQ
Eaton Residences KLCC: styling and design questions
My Eaton Residences KLCC home came furnished. Can you still style it?
Yes, and that is a common starting point. At Eaton Residences KLCC we keep the marble and joinery as they are, decide which of the landlord’s pieces stay, and add the rugs, cushions, lamps and art that make the rooms feel chosen.
Does styling an Eaton Residences KLCC home need landlord approval?
Not for loose items. At Eaton Residences KLCC, furniture, rugs, lamps, curtains on existing tracks and leaned art are yours to change. Drilling, joinery or works need the owner’s written consent and the management’s approval.
How much does styling cost at Eaton Residences KLCC?
About RM4,350–6,065 for a one-bedroom home and RM7,780–11,210 for three bedrooms. Bedrooms are RM1,715 each and the open-plan living, dining and kitchen RM2,635; the top of each range adds extra rooms. The fee is agreed in writing; furniture is separate.
What does an Eaton Residences KLCC styling project include?
An introductory call, a measuring visit, a layout and buying list for each room, and an install day. At Eaton Residences KLCC that can be a single bedroom or the whole home, bought by you or by our Procurement Concierge.
How soon can an Eaton Residences KLCC home be styled?
Styling takes one to two weeks after delivery, and new furniture usually takes four to twelve weeks. For an Eaton Residences KLCC arrival we order the slow pieces first, and the first call can happen on video before you fly in.
How do you add warmth to a white marble Eaton Residences home?
With texture before colour. At Eaton Residences KLCC the floors are white marble and white timber and the joinery is white or grey, so we bring in a large wool or jute rug, timber and leather in the furniture, linen at the windows and lamps set low. None of it needs works, and all of it can move with you.
What are the layouts at Eaton Residences KLCC?
One-bedroom homes of 635 to 872 sq ft, two bedrooms and a study of about 1,100 to 1,460 sq ft, three or four bedrooms and a study of 1,550 to about 2,870 sq ft, and twelve penthouses of about 2,270 to 2,980 sq ft. All kitchens are open-plan.
Is styling or interior design right for my Eaton Residences KLCC home?
Usually styling, because the homes are recent and well finished. Interior design makes sense at Eaton Residences KLCC when you want built-in storage, a closed study or warmer joinery. You can always start with styling.
