Making Cinta feel like home: floor plans and styling
At Cinta the challenge is scale.
Styling here means furnishing very large rooms so they feel lived in, with loose pieces only, around what the home already has.
Cinta is a small, low-density condominium on Jalan Madge, with only two homes on each floor and a touch of European heritage in its design. Every one of its nine layouts is close to 4,000 sq ft or more.
- 3,969–4,161 sq ftFive layouts, the smaller Cinta homes
- 4,769–4,994 sq ftFour layouts, the largest
The nine sizes are StarProperty’s. Published listings describe four to six bedrooms, some with a helper’s room and a utility room; we measure the home you have.
What comes with the home, and what to keep
Cinta homes come in different states: some fully furnished, some partly. Before anything is bought, we list what is there.
In a home this size, scale is the whole game. A sofa that looks generous in a showroom can float in a Cinta living room, so we work in groups: a sofa, two chairs and a rug large enough for all their front legs, set as a room within the room, with a second, quieter corner for reading. Lamps at three heights do more for a large room than any ceiling light.
Whatever detail the rooms already carry, from door frames to floors, we look at before choosing what sits against it.
Styling a rented Cinta home
In a rented Cinta home, every loose thing can change: furniture, rugs, lamps, curtains, art.
Drilling, hacking or building in has to be agreed in writing by the landlord, then by management.
When the home came fully furnished
A fully furnished Cinta home can still feel like someone else’s. We list what is there, room by room, and ask your landlord what can be stored or collected. A matched bedroom set can often be split and spread between rooms, and a good dining table usually stays.
What you can change, and what needs a yes
Loose furniture, rugs, lamps and art need no one’s permission. Hooks and rails need the landlord’s agreement; hacking, built-ins, wiring and plumbing need it in writing, then management’s approval.
In big rooms, large art leaned on a long console, floor lamps and a freestanding rail in a spare bedroom do the work of fixtures without leaving a mark.
Five or six bedrooms, in order
With this many rooms, sequence matters. We finish the main bedroom first, then the living and dining, then the children’s rooms, and leave the guest rooms for last, so the household is comfortable from the first night.
Furniture that will fit the next home
The next home will very likely be smaller than a Cinta home. So we choose sofas that come apart into sections, rugs that work at two sizes of room, and lamps and art that travel well, and keep anything made to measure to a minimum.
Between households
If you are readying a Cinta home for its next household, styling can do it without works: built-ins kept, loose furniture refreshed, rooms finished. Furnishing to let, further down, covers homes that need works too.
Styling at Cinta, from first call to install day
For a Cinta home, one stylist carries the whole job: planning every room, guiding what you buy, and setting the house up once the last piece arrives.
Styling a five- or six-bedroom Cinta home sits at the longer end of our one to two weeks. New furniture adds four to twelve weeks before that, so large orders go in first.
Cinta has only forty homes, but large pieces still need a booked time. We ask management for delivery times and the route in before the sofa and the dining table are ordered.
- A conversation FreeThe household, the rooms you use most, what the home came with and the date you arrive.
- Measuring the home RM200, deducted if you go ahead with usEvery room, the helper’s and utility rooms included; existing furniture listed as keep, move or return.
- Fee, then plansThe fee set out in writing, then a placement guide and shopping list for each room, largest orders first.
- Ordering and deliveriesFrom the shortlist, yourself or through our Procurement Concierge, who books each delivery with management.
- InstallYour stylist arranges each room, hangs the art and makes up the beds, main bedroom first.
Five or six bedrooms, a shipment and a landlord’s inventory make for a long list. We hold it, and you can ask us what comes next at any time.
What styling costs at Cinta
Our estimate for styling a Cinta home is RM9,495–12,925 with four bedrooms and RM12,925–16,355 with six.
A room is RM1,715, the open-plan living and dining RM2,635, and the fee is in writing before work begins.
The lower figure covers bedrooms plus the living and dining; the upper adds two more rooms, for example a family room and a study. Where the living and dining are separate rooms, each counts as one. Every styled room is charged, at the same rate whatever its size.
| Home | Lower figure covers | Lower figure | With more rooms |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 bedrooms about 4,770 sq ft | Four bedrooms, living and dining | RM9,495 | RM12,925 |
| 6 bedrooms about 4,300 sq ft | Six bedrooms, living and dining | RM12,925 | RM16,355 |
Four bedrooms at RM1,715 plus RM2,635 come to RM9,495, or RM12,925 with a family room and a study. Six bedrooms: RM12,925, or RM16,355. A helper’s room is styled only if you ask.
October 2026 estimates, not a quotation. Furniture is a separate budget; the shortlist is built to it.
What styling includes at Cinta
A call, a visit to measure, a placement guide and shopping list for every room you choose, and an install day. In a home this size, the guide also shows how each large room is divided into areas: seating, dining, reading.
Our Procurement Concierge can take on ordering and deliveries.
Want more than styling at Cinta?
Furniture settles a Cinta household quickly.
Kitchens and bathrooms that have aged are a different job, and at Cinta it is one for the home’s owner.
Wardrobes from 2009, a kitchen showing its years, bathrooms that no rug can update: this is design work, and at Cinta it begins with the home’s owner, your landlord if you rent.
We help work out what to keep, what to change and what is worth doing properly, from one room to a full refresh between households.
Styling settles you into the home as it stands. Interior design changes the rooms themselves.
Interior design at Cinta, when home needs a little more
Cinta’s homes have room to spare and only one neighbour on each floor.
Nearly seventeen years after completion, kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes are where a refresh usually starts.
We plan the work with whoever owns the home, and with the household living there where the landlord agrees. In homes with four to six bathrooms, nothing has to happen at once: a refresh can go bathroom by bathroom, or wait for the gap between households.
What a Cinta renovation usually covers
- KeepSpace, layoutNine plans of about 4,000 sq ft or more; space is never the problem
- AdaptWardrobesSound carcasses can take new doors, lighting and fittings
- RenewKitchen, bathsThe rooms most likely to be due, done in stages
- CheckCeilings, planNo ceiling height or kitchen layout is published, so we measure and read the plan
The tenancy or sale agreement sets out what the home came with; we check it on site.
Renovation rules at Cinta
Cinta’s renovation rules aren’t published that we could find. Before quoting, we ask management for them, with the deposit, working hours and forms. For a rented home, nothing is planned until the landlord has agreed in writing.
We haven’t designed a Cinta home so far; we show you our Kuala Lumpur work on the first call instead.
Before any works at Cinta
In a rented Cinta home the landlord’s written consent comes first, then management’s written approval, and a city authority permit where the work requires one, which the contractor applies for.
Replumbing a bathroom, moving the kitchen or removing a wall triggers all three, so we raise it at the start. Styling with nothing attached to the walls needs none.
What interior design costs at Cinta
For a four-bedroom Cinta home our design fee is an estimated RM23,310–30,440, and RM30,440–37,570 for six bedrooms.
It is for the design work, agreed in writing first; renovation and furniture are budgeted separately.
- Each room we design
- RM3,565
- Living and dining
- RM5,485
Our fee is for the design service. Renovation and furniture are separate budgets, shown below.
Every bedroom and the kitchen is a room at RM3,565, and the living and dining together RM5,485. Four bedrooms and the kitchen make five rooms, RM23,310; six bedrooms make seven, RM30,440. Two bathrooms redone add two rooms: RM30,440 and RM37,570.
Our Procurement Concierge comes with interior design, and rooms that only need styling are styled for half the fee.
4 bedrooms and the kitchen: 5 rooms at RM3,565, plus the open-plan living and dining at RM5,485. The foyer and any yard or service area are designed free.
Within each level, the lower figure covers the essentials; the upper figure adds extras such as a feature wall, LED strips and a kitchen island.
What the two levels mean
Curated. Melamine or laminate carpentry, quartz or sintered stone tops, the existing ceiling kept or a new plaster ceiling. Furniture from Commune, Cellini, Fella Design, Dezign District, Poet Living, Big Brain, Gudang, Crown Livin and Dadswood.
Bespoke. Detailed joinery, sintered stone tops, a plaster ceiling with detailing. Furniture from Space Furniture, Tekni, BoConcept, King Living, Ambient Living, Stanzo, Forest Furniture, Roche Bobois, XTRA, Urban Edge, Molteni&C, Nostaloft, Flexform, Janine and Chesters Collection.
How the fee works
A closed kitchen is a room in the count; an open one isn’t, and comes off at RM3,565. We check which on the visit. The fee is agreed in writing and billed in stages; costlier stone or fittings change the contractor’s quote, not our fee.
For a 4,770 sq ft four-bedroom home, our fee and renovation and furniture at Curated (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living) total roughly RM248k–486k.
| Home | Our fee | Curated | Bespoke |
|---|---|---|---|
| 4 bedrooms about 4,770 sq ft | RM23,310–30,440 | RM225k–463k | RM438k–1,014k |
| 6 bedrooms about 4,300 sq ft | RM30,440–37,570 | RM276k–540k | RM530k–1,168k |
Curated draws on Commune, Cellini and Poet Living for furniture; Bespoke on Space Furniture, BoConcept and Molteni&C. Renovation and furniture only, before our fee.
Estimates at October 2026, not a quotation.
Behind the renovation figures
Cinta homes are priced as older homes with new floors; no bathroom is in the lower figure, and the calculator adds them.
The ranges include wardrobes, kitchen cabinetry, bedroom air-conditioners, a washer-dryer, hob and hood, less anything you keep. Vanities are not included.
Furnishing to let?
Preparing a Cinta home for its next household? New furniture may be all it needs. If works are due, our Essential level, with Ikea, SSF Home or Harvey Norman furniture, installs quickly and stands up to changing occupants; the design fee doesn’t change.

- 4 bedrooms
- RM126k–229k
- 6 bedrooms

FAQ
Styling and interior design questions at Cinta Condominium
How do you style a Cinta home that came fully furnished?
We list what is there, ask your landlord what can be stored or collected, and rework the rest before buying. In Cinta’s large rooms the gaps are usually rugs, lamps and art rather than more furniture.
Can I style a rented Cinta home without the landlord’s permission?
Yes, as long as nothing goes into the walls: furniture, rugs, lamps, and art leaned on a console. At Cinta, drilling, hacking or built-ins need your landlord’s written consent, then management’s approval.
How much does interior styling cost at Cinta Condominium?
About RM9,495–12,925 for four bedrooms and RM12,925–16,355 for six: RM1,715 a bedroom and RM2,635 for the open-plan living and dining, with a family room and a study at the top of each range. Furniture is bought separately.
What does interior styling include at Cinta?
A call, a measuring visit, a plan and shopping list per room, showing how each large room is zoned, and an install day. You can style the main bedroom alone or the whole Cinta home, and our Procurement Concierge can order for you.
How long does it take to style a Cinta home?
New furniture takes four to twelve weeks to arrive; styling then takes up to two weeks in a home of Cinta’s size. We order the large pieces first, and the first call can be by video before you land.
How do you furnish a very large living room at Cinta?
In groups rather than along the walls. In a Cinta living room we set a sofa, two chairs and a rug large enough for all their front legs as one room within the room, add a second, quieter corner for reading, and light both with lamps at three heights.
How big are the homes at Cinta Condominium?
Cinta’s 40 homes run from 3,969 to 4,994 sq ft built-up across nine layouts, with two homes on each floor of its five low-rise blocks. Published listings describe four to six bedrooms, some with a helper’s room and a utility room.
Do I need interior design or styling for my Cinta home?
Styling, for a Cinta home that works and needs to feel like yours. Interior design, for a kitchen, bathrooms or wardrobes that need replacing, which in a rented home is the landlord’s decision. You can start with one and add the other later.
How much does interior design cost at Cinta Condominium?
We estimate RM23,310–30,440 for four bedrooms and RM30,440–37,570 for six, covering the bedrooms, kitchen and living and dining, with two bathrooms at the top of each range. Renovation and furniture are separate: about RM225k–463k at Curated (Commune, Cellini, Poet Living) for a 4,770 sq ft home.
Can I renovate a Cinta home?
With the right permissions. Cinta’s management holds the renovation rules, which we couldn’t find published, so we ask for them, with the deposit, hours and forms, before quoting. In a rented home the landlord’s written consent comes first.
What interior design services do you offer at Cinta Condominium?
At Cinta we style large homes room by room for the households living in them, and design kitchens, bathrooms and wardrobes when a home is being refreshed with its owner’s agreement. We draw the plans, compare contractors’ quotes with you and manage the works on site, and contractors do the building. Interior styling and our Procurement Concierge are available without a full design, and Virtual Design looks after homes outside Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
