Interior design studio ยท SO/ Sofitel KL Residences

SO/ Sofitel KL Residences โ€” a branded address that starts at studio scale.

SO/ Sofitel KL Residences is one address among many we design for. See how Sundays in Bed works across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor โ€” real projects, real pricing, one flat fee, all in one place.

High-rise building exterior with glass facade

SO/ Sofitel KL Residences sits on a 3.11-acre freehold site at Lot 99, Jalan Ampang, developed by Oxley Rising โ€” 590 units under a Sofitel-branded hospitality concept. Sizes span the full range, from 566โ€“578 sq ft studios and one-bedders around 565โ€“815 sq ft, up to duplex layouts approaching 5,000 sq ft, so the interior brief here shifts completely depending on which unit type you're in.

At the studio and one-bedroom end, this is compact-living design โ€” built-ins and multi-purpose furniture doing most of the work. At the duplex end, it's closer to a two-storey home brief, with a proper stair, split levels and enough square footage that furniture proportion actually matters. We treat the two as genuinely different projects, not the same plan scaled up or down.

One flat fee per room, agreed before we begin, and a RM200 Klang Valley site visit (deducted from your project cost if you proceed) to see your specific home before anything is quoted.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design studio units the same way as the larger duplexes here?

No โ€” a studio brief is built around efficient storage and multi-purpose furniture, while a duplex gets planned more like a small two-storey home. We treat them as different projects.

Is SO/ Sofitel KL Residences within your service area?

Yes โ€” same Klang Valley-wide site-visit fee and flat per-room pricing as everywhere else we work.

When should I get in touch?

As early as you can. We'd suggest 5โ€“6 months before your target move-in date, or as soon as you have the keys โ€” that gives us lots of room to plan around.

Can I keep and reuse furniture I already own?

Yes. The Interior Styling tier is built specifically around working with what you already have, adding new decorative and accessory pieces around your existing furniture rather than replacing it outright. Even with a full Interior design project, you can flag which pieces you want to keep during your project brief, and the design is planned to incorporate them.
