Justin's Bedroom

Justin’s bedroom was designed as a retreat from the pace of everyday life—a room that feels still, grounded and effortlessly restful. The entire space is colour-drenched in taupe, creating a gentle, cocoon-like atmosphere, with a feature wall behind.

While layered, moody lighting allows the room to shift into a softer setting as the day winds down.

The ceiling’s unusual heights and proportions presented a challenge, but through careful measurements and considered detailing, it helped bring everything back into balance. Even the wooden strips were hand-tinted to blend seamlessly with the wallpaper, disguising its joins while adding another layer of craftsmanship.

A room that asks nothing of you, except to slow down and switch off.
