Aloycius' Open Space

Aloycius' Open Space

Open Space · Interior Design

Some collections deserve more than a shelf. In this open concept of living-dining room, the built-in dining cabinetry was designed around an eclectic collection of vintage books—from old National Geographic editions to well-loved encyclopaedias. Displayed proudly alongside the travel trinkets, they bring a sense of history and personality to the room, turning something deeply personal into part of the home’s story.

The living room was intentionally kept simple, leaving space for artwork to grow into the home over time. During the day, natural light keeps the space feeling bright and relaxed, while carefully layered lighting takes over at night, creating a warmer, more intimate atmosphere. Behind the scenes, the sound system was given just as much thought, with wires cleverly concealed so technology could be enjoyed without becoming part of the visual landscape.

It’s a space where old and new can sit comfortably together—where books can be picked up, music can fill the room and the walls can slowly collect stories of their own.

Because home is where the things you love, the memories you’ve made and the life you live all come together.
