We came to know this client simply as the wanderer — someone who arrived at a new, empty home already owning a home's worth of history: thrifted stools, market textiles, and vintage pieces gathered over years in different places. None of it had ever shared a room before, and the brief was not to replace any of it with something newer or more matched. It was to keep every piece and still make the whole home feel composed rather than cluttered, bohemian rather than chaotic.
