A landed home is a different brief from a condo. There's usually more than one floor, a staircase that has to feel like part of the house rather than an afterthought, a car porch or garden that doubles as living space, and — because nothing shares a wall with a management corporation — a lot more decisions that are entirely yours to make. Landed house interior design at Sundays in Bed covers all of it: double storey terrace houses, link houses, semi-Ds, bungalows, and townhouses across Kuala Lumpur and Selangor.
Landed homes tend to invite bigger renovation conversations than condos — hacking a wall between kitchen and dining, rewiring an older double storey terrace house, waterproofing a flat roof, extending a car porch. Sundays in Bed does not carry out that work. Our position is simple and we say it plainly to every landed client: we design and project-manage; contractors build.
In practice, if your project needs structural, electrical, plumbing, or waterproofing work, we don't pick up tools ourselves, and we don't pitch ourselves as your contractor. As part of our Interior Design tier, we gather and compare quotes from reputable contractors, then project-manage the design side so what gets built matches the intent, floor by floor. The physical building stays with the contractor you and we select together. If your landed house just needs design and furnishing on a structure that's already sound, that coordination step simply doesn't apply.
