Bangsar doesn't build the way the rest of the Klang Valley does. Alongside the newer condo towers, Bangsar Park and Bangsar Baru are full of older landed bungalows and terraces — homes with real bones, mature gardens and decades of small renovations layered on top of each other, sitting a short walk from the cafes and lifestyle scene the area is known for.

A Bangsar project is rarely a blank canvas the way a new condo handover is. Older landed homes here often need us to work around existing structural quirks, mismatched past renovations, or a layout that made sense in the 1980s but not for how a family lives now — alongside the newer condo developments where the brief looks much more like anywhere else in KL. We design for both, and we're upfront when a landed renovation needs a conversation with a structural contractor before design decisions can lock in.

Bangsar residents tend to want a home with some character — not a showroom — which shapes how we approach material and furniture choices here: warmer, more collected, less uniformly "new." If you're restyling rather than fully redesigning, our styling tier works especially well in Bangsar's older homes, where the bones are often worth keeping and the room just needs a considered refresh.

The same flat rate that applies across the Klang Valley: RM1,715 per room for styling, RM3,565 for the complete interior design service, open-plan spaces priced as their own category. A Bangsar site visit is RM200, credited back if you proceed.

Yes — landed renovations are a regular part of our Bangsar work, and we'll flag early if something needs a structural opinion before we design around it.

Do you handle renovation approvals for Bangsar landed properties?

We help plan and sequence the works and can point you to the right approvals process, though structural or extension permits sit with your contractor and the relevant authority, not with us directly.

Is styling enough for an older home, or do I need the full design service?

Depends on the room — if the layout and finishes are basically sound and it just needs furniture, art and lighting, styling is often the right (and more affordable) fit. We'll tell you honestly on the discovery call if a room actually needs the fuller service instead.
